Keyboard warriors

It takes a certain kind of person in this world to say something to your face and something completely different behind your back.

It takes an extremely… unkind and unconscionable kind of person to sit behind a keyboard and say horrible things to people.

Why is it so easy for people to be so mean when they’re hiding behind their computer screens? And why has this behaviour become so widespread on the internet? And why are we just so accepting of it?

I see people all over twitter and facebook and instagram being rude, obnoxious and mean to one another and I don’t understand why. Why do we live in a time when if someone is not allowed to disagree with you? Why do we live in a time when it is okay to threaten them for disagreeing with you?

Enough with the bullshit. I am not tolerating it anymore. I’ve had enough.

      1. I have actually started to take screenshots of the posts and their original authors (usually anonymous individuals), and report them to the FBI and Police. In addition to that, I’m also holding the website owners personally responsible for hosting such hate-mongering hideous and anonymous individuals/content. All of us have an individual power that can bring change to the mean environment on Internet that you pointed to. This online hate speech is creating mass shootings worldwide and something needs to be done to not only save ourselves or our loved ones, but the peaceful online users as well.

  1. Projection/Reflection EveryOne; it’s Crystal Clear Clarity that We Attract what We ARE…it’s Mirrors; The Posh English Have Many Awesome, UnderStated Phrases and This is a Compilation of Some of Those Phrases:

    ◇ ‘Oh dear’
◇ ‘Keep a stiff upper lip’
◇ ‘Don’t let the buggers get you down’
◇ ‘I think you may be not quite right’
    ◇ ‘The peasants are revolting’
    ◇ ‘I am not amused’

…even a smidgen of Internet Research will UnEarth More UnderStatements that Send Trolls on Their Way or Become New Friends with Folk who ARE Mistaken, Abused, Fearful and Mean; c’est la vie, ne c’est pas tout le monde 🤔 ?…

You can also reach out to your local congressman/woman and senator to request necessary changes (to prevent such hate speech online) in Section 230 DCA 47 USC.

  3. I have found that the blogging community is not as full as hate as social media sites. I don’t believe I have witnessed any disturbing behavior in the blogging community which is a good. I am not saying it doesn’t happen in blogging. I am just saying I don’t recall witnessing it in my nearly five years of blogging.

  4. Speaking entirely as an old man, I can honestly say that disagreement is an art, and it’s one that has become all but forgotten these days. In my teens, we had one simple way to deal with conflict: fight it out. If you can’t find some constructive way to sort out an issue, fight it out. Once the fight’s done, nothing more need be said about it. Seldom ever was there a repeat. No weapons, just fists. It wasn’t a pretty way to deal with it, given that I once went home with a bloody and swollen face, but it worked. Nowadays, people use guns, knives, and anything else they can get their hands on to show the evil that lives in their hearts. Online, they use information like a weapon, doxing people they don’t like, while encouraging others to join in the fun. It’s insidious and disgusting, and it fills me with the desire to move somewhere remote where I can limit human contact.
