I’m trying to tell myself ‘this too shall pass’ but it’s just not working.
I’m so damn sick and tired of feeling this down. I’m so damn tired of this continuous stream of bad news. I’m just sick and tired.

I’m having an easy week. Nothing booked, no outings just time to myself. I was going to go for a walk tomorrow but couldn’t do it. It’s a meetup and it means socialising.
So I might just go have a coffee and go sit on the beach.
You need a few nights of good sleep. Go for a walk..you’ll feel better

Oh, I wish there was a beach near me! The beach always used to make me feel better when I lived near the beach.
I will go for a walk though. I think I’m going to take my doggo for a long, long walk.
Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot people can say in situations like this to make it better. And I’m so sorry. I wish and hope you can find a way out of this “funk” very very soon.

You’re allowed to have a down day. Have a down week if you need to, but you don’t have to live there. You can and will bounce back. I know it. Xx

Self-care. Engage with whatever you can that you’ve found helps stabilize/elevate your mood. Avoid the things you know are likely to make you feel worse. Don’t feel guilty if you need to set aside other things you intended to do so you can focus on getting yourself back to a better place.

Thank you. You’re very wise, and I know I should take your suggestions. I just need to get the motivation to do so. I appreciate your support.

I completely understand the ‘need to get motivation’ part. Do what you can for yourself when your brain will let you. Depression takes the fight out of you and makes it that much harder to break free.

I’m with you on this one. It’s easy to get stuck in these moments and not being able to see an end in sight. Just breathe through it, it’ll be over soon enough!

Hope you feel better soon. One way i pass the time for my mood to gey better is that i go and learn something. Often this means watching youtube video or reading a blog as a way to distract the mind from negative things. Afterwards it makes thinking positively easier and you learn ablot of stuff in the process.

That’s a really great idea, actually. Thank you for the suggestion, I might need to just try that. I might as well learn something. You’re so right.

When those really crappy times come, I try to allow myself time to be sad and upset. I limit that time, because if I allow myself to wallow there, I end up in a depression that I can’t just snap out of. I force myself to call a friend, take my dog for a walk, make myself a meal, soak in the tub… any little thing that will break the cycle of staying in that yucky slump. Doesn’t mean I can’t go back there for a bit, just take breaks out of it… even if I have to force them. You got this, Sweetie! ♥

Thank you for the tips. ❤ I think I might go take the dog for a really long walk this afternoon. Some fresh air and exercise could do me really good.

serious MOOD. Take it one day at a time alright, accomplish something little every day and eventually, somehow, somewhat, it will be neutral. I can’t promise it will get better or good but you will find neutral again.

That’s a really good way to approach it. I think I’m going to try that. Just looking at the little things and hoping to get back to neutral. Thank you for the suggestion.

Honestly? I am too. I haven’t really written anything in maybe more than a week. Feel free to email or get in touch with me if you need a friend. I could really use the company.

I tried hitting the follow button so I could send you a message, but I don’t have an email set up without my name attached so I don’t sent emails. Where can I find the follow button on your page?

Do I not have a follow button? That’s… super interesting. Thank you for letting me know. I hadn’t noticed. I’ll fix this today and see if we can set something up. Thank you for letting me know. 🙂
