Bragging Ahead

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a huge fan of analytics. Analytics can teach you what you’re doing right, what you’re doing wrong and how to fix it. Because of this, I’m a huge advocate for tracking your analytics and using them to your favour.

Well, I’ve been putting together some analytics tonight and this blog has been read more than 120,000 times from 165 countries and territories around the world in 13 months.

120,000+ views from 165 countries and territories all over the world.

That’s pretty damn cool.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring about something I had to say. Thank you for stopping by. Thank you for making this girl feel like maybe there is some value to the things she says (once in a while).

Also, if you’re not presently tracking your analytics, start!

  1. I check mine regularly, but then again in still in the NEW phase. I am no where near 100, much less 50…lol. Things take time, I’m still learning the tricks of the trade or maybe I’m just that boring. 🤣

    1. You’re not failing. You’re still going. Also – aim for your own numbers! It’s your blog – make it your goal reach certain points!!!

    1. It really is! All the times I’ve talked about visiting places on this blog that I could only ever dream of seeing and having people from those places stop by my blog and leave comments, it’s a really cool thing to be a part of.

    1. I have been blogging for a year.
And all of my marketing tips, tricks, advice and tactics can be found under the marketing tab on my blog. If I’ve written it in a post, it’s a tactic I use myself.

  2. I know what I want my to become one day but can’t commit to it right now. In the future, I will definitely be tracking analytics. Even for the free version of WP, they throw in useful analytics that everyone should start paying attention to. Even knowing most popular time and day, and most popular post is useful.

    1. It’s a pretty cool feeling. Places I’ve always dreamed of seeing and visiting, people from there find my blog and share parts of their lives with me. It connects us all.

  3. What a great stats you have in there. That only means you’re doing the right thing. You inspire people. You give them reasons to move forward. Keep going! ☺️

  4. I’d enjoy a post describing how you can care about analytics so much. I find myself stumbling from blog post to blog post trying to keep myself consistent that I just can’t be bothered to look at the numbers or process the information. I know it’s something separating my blog from successful ones like this one, but for some reason I never get around to it.

But it could be as simple as “just start caring about your analytics you slacker!”

  5. I used to chase the numbers years ago, but then realised that it had started to influence what I wrote – what I shared – so eventually stopped. I still have analytics hooked up, but only look from time to time out of curiosity.

    1. That can definitely happen, if you’re not careful. It can get exciting to see something do really well and think ‘Damn, I need to write about that more and more to keep people interested’. I think that’s pretty much the explanation of half of youtube. lol
