The purest kind of love

I’m a firm believer in the power of the universe. I believe that the people, the places, the things we have in our lives are a part of our lives for a reason. Pets are no exception to this. They come into our lives and teach us the purest meaning of unconditional love, what it is like to truly see the best side of every day, and that even the little victories are always worth acknowledging. They rescue us. They make us better. Calmer. They fill a void that we didn’t even know we had.

You know what they say… “sometimes the smallest things take up the most space in your heart”. Yeah, ain’t that the dang truth.

  1. Yes!! I am such an animal lover and I have had so many dogs and cats over the years. The one thing I keep telling my partner is that I wish we had one right now for exactly the reasons you mentioned๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. My parents have a dog here where I’m at presently and their dog is this incredibly loving character. When my dad’s brother died last month, the dog did not leave my dad’s side. Seriously, it slept on the floor beside his bed. Dogs are just… they’re good on the good days, they’re great on the crisis days. Dogs are so special. Maybe after this pandemic ya’ll can rescue a nice creature and give him or her a better life!

    1. You’re so right. There’s just something about pets. Their loyalty and protective nature, we get so lucky to get to be in their orbit.

  2. I’m sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my last dog a few weeks ago. She was such a blessing. I never actually heard that saying about the smallest things but I know its true. It does not take the most grandiose things to bring joy in our lives. In fact, one of the simplest things that does is love. Pets, in fact, are some of those things that bring us love. Thanks for the post. Take care!
