  1. As a general rule it’s really hard to do something which nobody else does πŸ˜†. So I always take that assumption now.

      1. Oh! Sorry yeah this was ambiguous, lol. I meant that it’s hard to do something unique, and that no matter how strange the habit seems, there always seem to be other people who’ve thought of it before!

  2. We all judge ourselves from time to time. I say put it out there anyways because there’s always another person who can relate and find value in it. Love your sense of humor and presence always on here VπŸ˜‰β€

    1. Do you ever go back to it and feel the pain that you were feeling at the time of writing? I think that’s my reasoning for not wanting to keep them. If I’m in a bad mood, I don’t want to return to that mood, ya know?

    1. That’s a good point.
I think I just worry that my problems aren’t as big as others in the grand scheme of things and I don’t want to sound like a spoiled brat. That doesn’t diminish the problems though. I just need to acknowledge that problems are still problems, even if there’s worse going on in the world.

    1. Dang! I commend that. I don’t know how you do it.
I had two that I held onto for a few months but inevitably deleted. Usually if I can’t get something out in a week, I delete it.

      1. It’s not that tough to be lazy and let them pile up. Most of them are just the kernel of an idea in a sentence or two. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night or I’m driving down the road and have a great idea that needs to get jotted down so I just start a draft. Yes, I’m that person who will pull over to the side of the road to jot down an idea and then sit on it for months.

  3. I used to do that, but now I care less and just go ahead with publishing them. I think writing rant-y posts are completely justifiable, and while one might cringe later down the line, it also shows the change and growth you’ve had since then. Posts are like journal entries, so don’t feel bad– it’s up to you to decide whether or not to hit “Publish!”

    1. Yeah. Perhaps sometimes the feelings emitted in a particular post are that which I don’t feel deserve to be brought to light. Everybody has pieces to themselves they hide, no?
