I don’t feel good.

My head feels like an anvil was dropped on it.

My throat is dry, sore and my pallet swelling.

I go between stages of being so cold that I’m violently shivering, and so hot that I want to take off all of my clothes and run out into the snow.

Sinus pressure is making it difficult for me to breathe.

I’m tired. So tired. I slept for twelve hours last night and then had a four hour nap today.

My vision is blurry.

My body feels so achy. I think I’ve aged thirty years in the past 24 hours. Touching any part of my body feels like I’m touching a bruise.

Aye yai yai.

I don’t feel good.

I know I’m whining. I just need to whine for a hot minute.

    1. I dont think so? I think its just the flu. Then again I can’t say that for certain given the world we live in in 2020. Nevertheless I’m not leaving my house any time soon.

    1. While this is very sweet, and absolutely speaks to your unwavering kindness and goodness, I wouldn’t let you anywhere near me right now. If I am contagious, the last thing I want to do is get you sick!

  1. Get well soon Vee. And I always thought 12 hours of sleep can cure anything 😊

Homeopathic medicines are excellent for your kind of symptoms Vee. No diagnosis needed. Gelsemium 200 and Arsenic Alb 30.

Shall send you healing and lots of love πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—

  2. Get well hun. If you start having trouble breathing or feeling much worse than you already do, you need to call emergency services asap. Don’t mess around on that. If you do have the evil virus, take heart because it seems like most people do just fine. But nevertheless yeah, please watch yourself and be vigilant. Even though I know that’s kind of hard to do when you feel shitty and just want to sleep and can’t move :/.

    1. Thank you. Honestly, I think the thing that has made me fear Corona so much this year is that, when I get sick I seem to get sicker than everyone else. Normal people can get a cold and have it for 3 or 4 days, maybe a week tops, whereas I will be sick for 3-4 weeks with a single cold. Normally I’m fine recovering while being around people, but I worry right now I might be a bit of a leper if I’m coughing around people or struggling to breathe. We’ll see what happens in the next couple of days. If I don’t get any better I’ll go see a doc.

      1. Yes that’s a good plan. How are you feeling today? I think I just saw a heading about ugly bedding. I feel that if miss V is well enough to bitch about things, that’s a very good sign. πŸ™‚ Now I’m going to read your rant.

  3. You are allowed to whine. Sounds like a good dose of the ‘flu. That’s how I felt the first year I had a ‘flu shot and promptly came down with it! But like everyone else says….if no improvement soon time to seek help.
Get a lot of rest. Drink lots of fluids. Get better soon.

    1. Yeah, I think it’s the flu too. At least I hope it’s the flu. Thank you for your well wishes.
I am someone who’s allergic to the flu vaccine so I’m not sure that I’m going to be able to get it this year. Hopefully that doesn’t mean I spend all winter sick.
