Hi. Hello. I have a headache.
Here’s a list of things that make me happy:
- The Rocky Mountains
- The song ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ by Joe Walsh
- People with an infectious laugh
- People with a sarcastic sense of humour
- Las Vegas (when it’s not overrun with plague)
- Neck kisses
- French toast with ketchup
- A great pair of sunglasses and a very sunny day
- Sidewalk chalk
- Comfortable pillows
- When you’re standing in line at the grocery store and the person in front of you asks if you want to go in front of them and you’re reminded that there are some kind souls left in this world
- Scratch tickets. I’m obsessed! Why are they so addictive? I rarely win. I always want them, though. I haven’t bought one in probably two months and I miss them dearly.
- Fancy notebooks. Boring notebooks. Fancy pens. Boring pens. All stationery. When I was a kid I hated going to school but I loved shopping for school supplies.
- When people check on you not because they want something but simply because they want to check on you
- Blow dryer/hair brush in one. Game changer, I tell you.
- Potatoes. They’re so underrated. They’re the best carb, I tell you. French fries, mashed, baked, tater tots, however you make it, they always taste good.
- When you tell someone to do something and they do it the first time, without your needing to remind them
- Opening a fresh tube of tooth paste
- Law & Order SVU
- The smell outside after it’s just rained
Loving your list posts! Fun fact in case you didn’t know: ‘petrichor’ is a neat word for #20 π

Everything *except* number 7 looks like it was ripped from Julie Andrewsβ songwriting notebook. π₯°
As for #7…good gourd, woman – arenβt your countryβs main exports maple syrup and hockey? Save the ketchup for your eggs and put the maple syrup where gourd intended: on your French Toast! π

Hope your headache is better. I get them most days :(. Rocky Mountains…yes. Actually any mountain range, stationery….me too! potatoes, esp frittes and the smell of earth after rain definitely. I also love books and I suppose I should say mostly I love animals.

Oh animals is a good one I forgot to include. Dogs. Cats. Goats. Anything cute and furry is a blessing!

But what about Pepsi! My doctor keeps telling me how much healthier I would be if I gave it up, but it ain’t gonna happen. I gave it up once. It was hell on earth.

Of course, pepsi! How could I forget? Clearly I was in a rough head space last night. Lol

#4 is GOLD (and it’s who I am most of the time, really). Would love to have a loved one to satisfy #6 haha. #7 sounds like a controversial topic, but dang…I’ve never tried that, and I would be apprehensive, too…after all, you can’t take away my French toast and maple syrup together!

Hey V! I loveeeeeee the smell outside after it just rains. Also, a lot of people donβt really understand my sarcastic humor. ): Speaking of potatoes… I might make some tator tots for a midnight snack π

Potatoes!! Yes! I totally agree. So cheap, too. Superfood.
Boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew!
