Letters to Anyone

Never underestimate your power, your potential and your ability to change this world for the better. The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the one’s who end up doing so. The people who talk themselves out of it will spend their lives wondering ‘what if’.

If you want to make a difference, do it. If you want to have an impact, do it. So many people believe their circumstance limits them to nothing more than being average or chasing mediocrity, when in reality that mindset alone is their biggest roadblock to leaving a meaningful legacy.

Make a change.

Chase your passions, dreams and desires. Stop underestimating yourself.

Yeah, you heard me, stop underestimating yourself.

  1. You are right, of course, but it is hard when all your life you’ve been ignored or treated as if you weren’t good enough. And when all your energy goes into getting through the day and getting bills paid.

    1. I’ve been there before. Actually, to some extent, I am there right now. It’s shit. I know how you feel. I guess I would just suggest that there are more ways then monetarily to make change. I hope that doesn’t sound like me being an asshole. The person who started the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, they dumped a bucket of ice on their head and challenged their friends to challenge their friends, in the end raising $115 million for ALS research.

    2. I hope this didn’t sound like I was attacking you earlier. I just know that small things done can have a ripple effect in big ways. And you and your kind soul have the propensity to effect a lot of people. (Even the stupid ones! lol)

      1. Not at all. I know sometimes the little things we do for people can have a ripple effect. When I was a kid I wanted to save the world and I guess I am disappointed I couldn’t do “great” things….like David Attenborough, people who make a real difference! Not that I wanted fame or acclaim, just the end reult.

  2. Great advice! Life is tough, but we can all do our parts to make a difference. We may not see the changes immediately, or even ever. But if we do the right thing we have no idea how many lives we can affect and change for the better. This blog is helping people, so keep up the great work!

    1. I think you raise a valid point – we may not ever know the amount of lives we can truly effect. Some people pass away and leave behind incredible legacies they weren’t even aware of when they were here. It’s all about how you live your life!

  3. By this definition, I am as crazy as can be! I believe that each one of us have a responsibility to show up with as much kindness and loving compassion as possible. We all deserve love and I make it my business to share the love that radiates within my soul with all I encounter. Change does start within and then ripples throughout others. As a shaman, I’m honored to help heal humanity one heart at a time❤ In light and in shadow, always with love. Namaste my dear one🙏

    1. You are the poster-child of change, and growth, and progressiveness. Your openness to the world and what it can give you despite all that you’ve been through is like the rainbow after a storm. I look up to you a great deal. I know I don’t say that a lot but I read all of your posts and see all of your Instagram feed posts as well. I hope one day to have the confidence you have. And all I can do is continuing to work on it, day in and day out.

      1. I’m incredibly humbled by your kindness and recognition for my journey. The past ten years have taught me so much and I want my life to stand as a testament to hope, the rainbow 🌈 is so very heartwarming and accurate. Change is both painful and blissfully beautiful. We each have the ability to change. I’m celebrating this post and you dear V. From the very moment I read your blog, I knew you had great things to share with others. Your heart is pure. Here’s to the continous curiosity for the journey. Strong sisters recognizing the light within one another and shining so brighly💛🌠🙏

  4. We have nothing to fear but fear itself, the great limit on our soul expression. Fear of what others will think. Fear of what may be said. Fear of what might happen. Yes, we could fall but yes also we could fly. I wonder if little birds leaving the nest ponder these things for a moment as humans do. Or do they leap instinctively?
