Peace of mind

I went to the grocery store today and just wandered. It was so nice to just walk up and down every aisle and glance at what’s the same, what’s new, what looks good and what doesn’t. I didn’t get scared. I didn’t have an anxiety attack. I just shopped for groceries like a normal person.

It has been months since I’ve been in a grocery store.

Now that I’ve had my second vaccination, I feel much safer in doing such. That peace of mind, I can’t even begin to explain how much that helps me, how much that means to me.

It’s the small things in life.

      1. From those I know who got Moderna, they all said their first shot gave them an epic nap and the second shot gave them a gnarly headache. You had a nice nap yet? If not, I hope you get there at some point today.

      2. I just woke up πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. It was the same as the instant crashes I have with the antidepressants at the end of the day but earlier. Perhaps that was the true reason I was getting nothing beforehand lol. V wins πŸ˜’. It allows you to wake fully clothed, booted from literally just dropping into blissful slumber in whatever state you lay down in lol. I am sweating cos it’s a boiling hot afternoon!!

  1. Yes! I have been enjoying slow, strolls in the grocery store too. It has been far too long. My two boys (15 and 13) can not wait to see the inside of a grocery store and find some normalcy. They have just a few more days until it has been the two weeks since their second dose. We were lucky and were able to get them their first dose on the day it was approved for their age group.
